C Buster on Mt. Seymour

C-buster is a classic North Shore trail on Mt. Seymour, North Vancouver.  Built in the late 1980’s by an Employee  of Deep Cove Cycles, it is steep, tight and will not be enjoyed by those who don’t like a technical challenge.

Since it was built, it has had a few people doing some minor work on the steep sections. Lee and I have had a few work sessions on the trail since 2003. After we had Asian Adonis built in 2013-2014 the flat beginning and end of C Buster saw more traffic and inevitably more wear and erosion. These photo’s show the work done on the upper and lower section to remediate the wear.
